Privacy Policy

Last updated September 18, 2026

This is a beta under construction.

Axiom is still being built and tested. We collect the minimum information needed to run the beta, and we may change this policy as the product evolves. Your data may be reset during testing.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the display name you choose. If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google-provided name and email. As you use the app, we also store:

  • Course progress, lesson attempts, quiz and readiness answers, and streaks.
  • Practice and free-form attempts, including missed-problem tracking.
  • Messages you send to the AI tutor and the responses it generates.
  • Limited usage data (such as which pages you visit) used to keep the beta working.
We do not collect more than is necessary to provide the beta experience.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:
  • Run the app — show your progress, grade answers, and personalize practice.
  • Improve content and fix problems during the construction period.
  • Communicate with you about your account and the beta.
We don't sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

Your tutor messages and some practice inputs are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. We choose providers that process inputs to return the response and do not use your content to train their models. Still, because this is a beta, avoid sharing anything sensitive in the tutor or practice tools.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored with our hosted backend and database provider. We apply reasonable access controls and row-level security, but no system is perfectly secure — especially a product still under construction. Please don't enter sensitive personal details.

5. Data retention and resets

Because Axiom is a testing beta, we may reset, reorganize, or delete stored data — including accounts, progress, and AI history — at any time during construction. We may also delete inactive beta accounts.

6. Your choices

You can sign out or request deletion of your beta account by contacting us through the app. You can also choose not to use the AI tutor or practice tools if you prefer not to send that content for processing.

7. Children

Axiom is aimed at students, but you must be at least 13 (or have parent/guardian permission) to create an account. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy will change as the beta progresses. We'll update the date above for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
